About Us
Who am I? Bette Ann Moskowitz: writer, author, teacher, editor. I've written and published in many genres (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, prose, songs, drama) and in many types of publications (magazines, books, newspapers, literary journals).
I've taught writing at the college level for twenty years, as well as in private master classes and workshops. I've won a New York Foundation For The Arts Fellowship for my writing and Queens College of the City University of New York President's Award for excellence in teaching writing. My first novel, LEAVING BARNEY (Holt) was described as "A marvelous and touching portrait of a survivor," and my last book, DO I KNOW YOU? Has been called a "candid, daring book" (TIME Magazine, 1/18/99). It has recently been released in paperback (Rowman & Littlefield)
Many of my clients have gone on to publish.
Their assessment of what I have to offer: "incredible instinct," "Wide breadth of knowledge of the art and craft of literature," "tactful and tough," "No bull," "She inspires me." In 2004, one of my clients dedicated her young adult novel, REAL TIME to me.
